Mary is a doctoral researcher focusing on the use of Big Data & Machine Learning in Personalised Health Interventions. Mary has worked internationally in industry in the tech sector for 25 years, running her own Database / Data Mining consultancy in London since 1995. Mary has also taught across industry on Database Technology, Big Data & Machine Learning, for the past 19 years in the UK, Europe, the US and Canada. Her introductory courses in Data Science are widely taught in industry in organisations as diverse as NATO and the UN in Geneva, to Disneyland Entertainment in Florida.
In her spare time, Mary is a part-time farmer, enjoys house renovation, and is passionate about increasing the numbers of women in STEM.
