BSc (Hons) Product Design & Technology
Damian graduated from Product Design & Technology in UL in 2012; following this he was awarded a PhD Research scholarship from the Irish Research Council through the Enterprise Partnership Scheme with the European Recycling Platform (Ireland). Damian’s PhD research is in the area of Sustainability and Design and the application of innovation in the treatment of End-of-Life electronics. The title of Damian’s research is “Repurposing Electronic waste as a driver for Resource Efficiency”.
Before returning to education Damian previously worked in the ICT industry in various guises as a Systems Administrator, Webmaster and Support Engineer for the past 15 years. Damian has a healthy interest in music, rugby, cycling and beer.
