Overview

PDT is based in the Department of Design & Manufacturing Technology within the Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Limerick.

This 4 year BSc  program offers students a studio based education in product design and leads to employment opportunities in design consultancy,in-house design, design research and related fields. The program develops a wide range of creative, practical problem solving and theoretical skills and our graduates are employed in a wide range of industries including:

  • Medical Devices
  • Sports equipment and aparell
  • Consumer electronics
  • Furniture and Interiors
  • Personal Protective Equipment
